GCDS’s vibrant and comprehensive skills-based program in the arts introduces children to the wonders of creation and self-expression. Students’ aesthetic experiences in the performing and visual arts help us to educate the whole person.

From Foundations to Fine Techniques
Music class begins in the first week of Nursery; formal studio art begins in Kindergarten; and as students move through the N-12 program, exploration into the visual and performing arts expands to include a specialized Arts Diploma program in the Upper School for students that wish to focus in this area.
