Participate
The GCDS alumni team is incredibly grateful to those alums who remain dedicated to keeping our mission and network alive. Outlined below are numerous different levels of engagement we welcome you to consider.
Class Representatives in every class are the vital links that connect members of your class around the world and with the school. In this role, you have the opportunity to connect with your class throughout the year, to find out what your classmates are doing, and let them know about events.
Reunions are a memorable opportunity for alumni to reconnect with each other, teachers, and the school. Each class celebrates their graduation anniversary every five years. Volunteers rally their classmates back to campus, assist in the planning of the reunion activities, and let classmates know about giving opportunities.
Alumni Ambassadors far and near campus help the Alumni Advisory Council achieve its mission through specific projects. Ambassadors work closely with the entire GCDS alumni network.
The Alumni Advisory Council is the leadership body of our alumni community dedicated to engaging our alumni and extending the value of GCDS beyond graduation. The AAC seeks to achieve this through purposeful communication, programming, and resources. Members are nominated by their peers and recommended to the Council by the Nominating Committee. The AAC requires a regular commitment of time for meetings, events, and engagement with the GCDS community.
The above list is just a start, we encourage your involvement in any capacity and invite you to share your ideas for how to participate in the GCDS community. Please contact Liz Duffy to discuss further:
