It is very easy to become consumed with how hard things have been these past few months. Pessimism can be powerful.
Yet, it is easy for me to have a very different perspective. Today, I am full of gratitude and joy. Every day I get to come to work in a place filled with amazing young people so happy to be in school. I get to interact with a parent body who is unflaggingly supportive, and of course, I get to work with the most splendid people in the world—the faculty and staff of Country Day.
How very lucky we all are!
My wish for you this holiday season is to take a moment, inhale deeply, reflect on the countless things we have to be joyful about and smile.
I hope this video helps you start our winter recess with a smile on your face and joy in your heart.
